Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Tinghir

After an early morning hotel pickup in Marrakech, your journey begins with a drive through the High Atlas Mountains passing one Berber village after another to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, famous for the Kasbah and fortified village, and previously used as a set for some famous Hollywood epics as well as a backdrop for some fashion magazine photo shoots.

After some free time to explore the village with its Kasbah, have lunch at a local restaurant, then continue your drive through Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the Sahara and into Boumalne Dades, where you can enjoy dinner and a stopover for the first night.

Boumalne Dades - Todgha Gorges - Merzouga

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and head to the spectacular Todgha Gorge, stopping for some free time to explore the canyons and have lunch at a local cafe. Continue to Merzouga to meet your camel caravan. Then, discover the Erg Chebbi dunes on camelback and watch the sunset change the color of the sand. Reach your desert camp before dark and enjoy an authentic Moroccan dinner under the stars. Local nomads will provide entertainment and show you how to play Tam Tam drums. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stop.

Merzouga Ouarzazate - Marrakech

After an early wake up to admire the sunrise before breakfast (optional), a driver will be waiting to pick you up for the transfer back to Marrakech. Halfway stop for lunch in Ouarzazate
